Jon Kearsey - Managing Director, Midwest Mobiity

Having worked within the industry for 14 years, for both manufacturers and retailers Jon has gained invaluable knowledge of a vast range of mobility equipment. Realising first-hand that the retail industry had become very bottom-line fixated, and not so much client-focused he and the late Colin Bowcott set up Midwest Mobility to bridge the gap in providing impartial advice and information directly to healthcare professionals and the end-user.

Jon holds the Managing Directors’ role and heads up a team of experienced and qualified assessors. He ensures that the Midwest Mobility team all share the company culture of focusing on the needs of the end user.

Nick Cawcutt

Technical Director

Nick Cawcutt - Technical, Midwest Mobility

Nick has over 25 years of hands-on technical experience, having worked for both mobility manufacturers and service suppliers, and has built up a vast technical knowledge across a wide range of mobility and care equipment and a full understanding of current legislation to ensure that equipment is operating and certified to meet regulations. 

As Technical Director, Nick is responsible for overseeing all installation and servicing contracts and will consult on the technical aspects of our commercial clients. Services include sourcing and the supply of mobility equipment and disability aids, a comprehensive range of servicing options to test, inspect, and maintain mobility equipment for residential care homes, nursing homes, hospices and hospitals.

With over 10 years of installation and servicing disabled aids and mobility equipment experience Colin takes care of our commercial servicing contracts. Also, his expertise makes him perfectly placed to quickly diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment faults.

Anthea Wheeler

Office Manager

Anthea Wheeler - Office Manager, Midwest Mobiity

With a background in medical surgical equipment design working for a Global leading manufacturer, and then moving to a managerial role within a leading mobility lift manufacturer Anthea brings over 38 years of managerial experience. Her role is to ensure that the day-to-day running of the office runs smoothly, overseas purchasing and managing client accounts. Anthea is generally the first point of contact for all our clients and puts good use to her exemplary customer service skills.
