All our rise and recline chairs at Midwest Mobility are built to the bespoke measurements, style and covering of your choice. Fully customisable chair models can incorporate single or dual motor motion, a waterfall back, lateral back, softback, firm back, flat arms, scrolled arms, wooden arms, fabric, vinyl or leather the options are pretty much unending.
Our chairs as standard have either a 14 stone, 20 stone or 25 stone mechanism however, we do offer heavy-duty mechanisms 25 stone plus and specials in excess of 50 stone if required.
We provide a home assessment to establish the needs of the user and take the necessary measurements. The home assessment service is available in the following areas: Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds and the Bristol area.

Mechanics behind the chairs
Single Motor Chairs
An easy two-button control enables the chair to rise to enable ease of standing, then returns to the seating position. The other button enables high leg elevation and back reclining.
Dual Motor Chairs
Dual motor chairs enable the same forward to a standing position but allow the back and footboard to operate independently of each other. This enables optimum comfort in a seated or reclined position. The 2 motor mechanism also allows the back to recline independently at any point in the reclining cycle.
1 Motor Tilt-In-Space
Tilt-in-space holds the user in a fixed position when in recline with the angle of the hip and the back remaining constant. This action is ideal for people with limited torso control.
2 Motor Tilt-In-Space
In addition to the one motor tilt in space action above, a second motor allows the the user to set the back angle independently at any point in the reclining cycle.

Ceiling Track Hoist Systems
Ceiling track hoist systems can be configured to linear transfer from one area to another on a single track or for a whole room coverage access using an H track system. We also have solutions to link hoist systems together in different rooms.
Mobility Scooters
We offer a comprehensive range of both 2 and class 3 scooters at competitive prices. Class 2 scooters are designed for pavement use and have a maximum speed of 4mph and class 3 road scooters have a maximum speed of 8mph.
Stairlifts
Stairlifts are simple to use, low maintenance and highly reliable. They can be installed on straight or return flights of stairs, attach directly to the stair’s treads.
